Amihailu in Dreamland bugfix

I have recently uploaded a new build that doesn’t require the dreaded RTP. I realize it’s kept some people from even playing the game (even long since the last release).

However! Fear no more, for the new version does not require the RTP and doesn’t have as many bugs! Hurrah! It doesn’t add much, since I wasn’t expecting to release so soon. It’s still technically version 0.01. There *is* a brand new event and an area you can check out, but before release I removed some debugging features to prevent players from winding up in an inescapable area. The new menu feature is also in the game (the journal may be added when the game reaches beta).

Have fun!

    I LOVE YOU.

    • Yeah I figured nobody would want to download a 200+ MB package just to play my game (’cause let’s face it, if you want a unique VX Ace game to play, there aren’t many to choose from and there is another title that’s RTP-free).

I had this run through a trial gauntlet of other players first and it appears to have worked quite well. Owl gave me the idea to RTP-free it a while ago, but there were a lot of tiny little files that I just couldn’t seem to smoosh out of there ’till recently.

At any rate, having to fetch a separate, huge package just to run the game kinda defeats the purpose of making it incredibly light compared to some other games.

  2. True, I went through hell and back to just figure out where to get the goddamned RTP. But the game was worth it.
